Scotland’s skip misses final draw to give up 1 in the first. Scotland’s skip misses draw and pushes in Canadian stone for 3 in the second. Scotland attempts an angle takeout on final shot and misses the second stone leaving Canada sitting with 1 in the third. Scotland makes draw for 1 in the fourth. Canada pushes out the number two Scotland stone on the button to take 3 in the fifth. Scotland draws to the button for 1 in the sixth then concedes match.

Norway completes a takeout of the US stone and rolls out to blank the first end. Norway draws to the button and pushes out the US counter to score 3 in the second. US throws through an empty house to blank in the third end. US removes the Norway counter to score 2 in the fourth. Norway removes the US counter to score 3 in the fifth. US knocks out Norway’s counter on the button to score 2 in the sixth. Norway takes out the US counter and rolls out to blank the seventh. Norway draws to US backing to score 1 in the eighth. US makes double on Norway but also pushes a US counter out to only take 1 in the ninth. Norway draws to the button to score 1 in the tenth.

NORWAY 8, UNITED STATES 5 >> Norway advances to Semi-Final Game Saturday, United States is out of the playoffs.

9th end–Scotland’s last rock froze to guarded shot rock on button. Norway trying for the takeout rubbed on the guard for a single point to Norway and the hammer to Scotland. 10th end–Scotland second double peal on center guards and lying one on center 4 foot. 1st rock Norway skip–taps back Scotland rock on button, about 1 foot separation, Scotland just in front of button.. 1st rock Scotland skip–removes Norway rock and rolls to left side of house on the tee line. 2nd rock Norway skip–taps back Scotland rock on button. Murdock makes the takeout and hugs all round.
